With the ongoing support of the UAE Ministry of Education, GESS coupled with GEF is entering its 4th year and is a well established and well-known exhibition and conference in the region. There is currently no other show covering the entire spectrum of educational supplies and solutions including: ICT and SEN solutions, science and lab equipment as well as educational toys, books, games and other classroom supplies and sports equipment.

Market Statistics
Strategy 2010-2020: the UAE Ministry of Education is aiming to accomplish a score of 10/10 in various educational infrastructure projects in ICT, health & safety, curriculum reform, facilities development and several projects to serve students with special needs GCC governments have significantly increased public funds for education and training in recent years, with a number of new initiatives being undertaken

Percentage of budget allocated to education: Saudi Arabia 25%, UAE 22.5%, Qatar 20% and Oman 13%
