The 2nd Asia-Pacific Region Stomatology President Forum concludes in Beijing

Peking University, Oct 20, 2017: On October 13-14, 2017, the Asia-Pacific Region Stomatology President Forum was held in Beijing. The forum, which was hosted by the Chinese Stomatological Association and co-hosted by the Peking University Hospital of Stomatology, invited famous presidents and deans of nine hospitals of stomatology from the US, Germany, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, and other countries and regions. Guests from more than 30 famous domestic hospitals and schools of stomatology also attended the forum.

On the afternoon of October 13, Deng Xuliang, Zhou Yongsheng, and Guo Chuanbin led their groups to present academic reports, demonstrating new ideas and technologies through comprehensive research methods.

On the morning of October 14, the conference was formally opened. President of the Chinese Stomatological Association Yu Guangyan, Director of the Peking University Health Science Center Zhan Qimin, and Dean of the School of Stomatology Guo Chuanbin delivered themed speeches. Other presidents and deans also gave speeches.

Various guests expressed ideas about the research and innovation of stomatology in the age of economic globalization, and through the challenges ahead. The conference came to a successful end.

Peking University Hospital of Stomatology, as a leading institution of stomatology in China, links the study of stomatology in its home country to research across the globe. This forum brought the latest developments of international research to China for domestic schools, and helped build up a platform for more international communication and cooperation.
