For the first time, business leaders and decision makers in the emerging Western China market can take advantage of the latest Professional AudioVisual and Integrated Experience solutions through the Chengdu InfoComm China platform

Chengdu, Sichuan, 5th Sept 2018 --( ASIA TODAY )-- Chengdu InfoComm China made its debut with a bang, opening today with a dazzling showcase of cutting-edge Professional AudioVisual (Pro-AV) and Integrated Experience solutions, many never before seen by the excited visitors who thronged the Western China International Expo City.

The buzz surrounding the lead-up to the show stemmed from the fact that Western China is a new and emerging market to be reckoned with. Testament to the promise of the region, Chengdu InfoComm China is the second such show to be organized within China. Event organizer InfoCommAsia has organized Beijing InfoComm China to great success since 2007, with the Beijing show held in April 2018 attracting a record 38,809 visitors.

David Labuskes, the Chief Executive Officer of AVIXA, said at the Opening Ceremony, “In April this year, we hosted our most successful Beijing InfoComm China show ever. If that success has taught us anything, it is that the pro-AV market in China is so significant — so dynamic — that it needs a second trade fair. One that is strategically located and professionally executed where the opportunity is the greatest. An event created to fuel the amazing momentum of technological innovation in this part of the world. Chengdu is the right place; Chengdu InfoComm China is the right event, right now.”

Guests officiating at the Opening Ceremony included Liu Ying, Deputy Director-General of Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs and Ma Ze Lin, Deputy Director-General of Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Exposition.

As a direct beneficiary of China’s massive Belt and Road Initiative, Chengdu and the rest of the Western China region has been earmarked for development. Based on economic indicators from a survey conducted by the international well-known economic think-tank Milken Institute in 2017, cities in Western China are already outperforming the traditional heavyweights like Beijing and Shanghai.

Said Richard Tan, the Executive Director of event organizer InfoCommAsia, “After months of preparation and anticipation, we are heartened that the show has come to fruition. As a bridge between the best in cutting-edge Pro-AV and Integrated Experience solutions, and a dynamic emerging market which is a force to be reckoned with, we are certain that the next two days will be very exciting ones on the Chengdu InfoComm China show floor.”
