Recent Studies and research have shown that the amount of Crude oil that could be extracted with Primary drive mechanisms is about 20-30% and by using the secondary techniques this could be reach to around 40%. EOR Techniques could increase the extraction levels from 60-65%. According to them department of Energy USA the amount of oil produced worldwide is only 1/3 of the total oil available. These advanced EOR techniques will address the supply in shortage. As we are aware that the consumption of Crude oil is fast increasing and the world reservoirs are depleting.
